About Adopter

Who are we?

Adopter is the digital marketing company for the adoption of emerging green technologies. Our clients range from startups to scaling businesses, incubators, and international organisations inventing green technologies and forging new green tech markets.

We help these organisations frame their messaging and grow their online presence so that they can effectively communicate their emerging climate crisis solutions to their customers, investors, and the world.

We believe that if green technologies are adopted, they can save the world from climate change and ecosystem collapse. Adopter was founded to ensure this happens in time.

More than 'just' a marketing company.

Additionally, alongside organisations like The Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, IUCN, or The Royal Foundation/Earthshot Prize, Adopter is one of the knowledge partners to the Taskforce on Nature Markets, an international group shaping a new generation of nature markets that delivers nature positive and equitable outcomes.

Our support for green innovation further continues at the grassroots level - working with organisations like Durham City Incubator, Cultivate Accelerator, and Barclays Eagle Labs, we provide workshops, training, and mentoring to entrepreneurs at the start of their business journeys.

Our sustainability

As a company, we are constantly working to ensure sustainability is at the heart of Adopter’s growth. In July 2022, Adopter became B Corp Pending certified, becoming the first company in County Durham to be listed in the B-Corp Directory. In April 2023, we became B Corp certified, becoming the first marketing company in County Durham to achieve this accreditation. Adopter is also a signatory to Tech Zero and SME Climate Hub.
